HAHA! Ricky... I got in the first update of 2010. But what better way than bumping off someone's movie to second with a film that they star in... RICKY 101 IS BACK... 7 YEARS LATER IN THE AUDIENCE CHOICE AWARD WINNER AT THE SOUTH BAY FILM FESTIVAL... HINDU BINDU 2! Yes, we visited India after 7 years... and we did it! With all the odds against us, we made a sequel to Hindu Bindu. We found the original Fruit Stand. Have the same actors.. this is better than Terminator 3. This film was shot with a consumer ass camcorder, Sony SR-11, in HD! Our first HD shot and edited film.. no joke. It was edited using Sony Vegas 9.0, and had some special effects done with After Effects. Looking back at the original part 1, we used after effects back then too! Of course, they weren't that extensive. A quick story of this filming... back in 2008 December.. going to India... we planned on filming Hindu Bindu 2, but had no story. We were going to write the story on the LONG ASS 18 hour plane trip.. that didn't work out for two reasons... I was sick, and Ricky got "stuck" sitting next to some woman on the plane. So we landed, I felt better the first night, literally had 6 days before we left Mumbai, to go to Dehli.. so we had to Write, Cast, Buy Props/Wardrobe, and Film ... in 6 days.. in a country where we have no friends... I think we did a banged up job, with a budget of 1500 Rupees... that's .. well.. you do the conversion :) Enjoy! Oh, and I'd like to give a shot out to our new friends in India, Ghanshayam Lalasa, Ragene Jerath, our Canadian Firend Ivan Brandt, and to the whole BHAVNANI FAMILY! Thank you all.
